To play in the original key (on the recording) you must tune all your strings down a WHOLE STEP.
This means:
E goes down to D
A to G
D – C
G – F
B – A
E – D
I love the riff used in this song. Such a simple yet effective use of bass notes.
Getting the rhythm right (especially the rhythm of the Fmaj7 chord in-between the riffs) really brings this song to life.
