16th beats open up a world of rhythm opportunities. Up to now each bar of music (playing with 8th beats) only had a choice of 8 places to strum. We now have double that number.

When you play in 16th beats for each hit of the metronome (quarter beat) you're playing 4 hits.

If it's comfortable, play a louder hits on the numbers. For example 1 e + a 2 e + a etc
