Throughout the years teaching people fingerstyle the one thing I keep noticing is the lack of rhythm and timing. That's why I've been so persistent on you using a metronome with most of the lessons.
Sometimes the timing is incorrect because you physically can't change chord or fingerstyle technique fast enough. The lesson above (although not a quick fix) will help you achieve greater speed and strength in your fingers.
