Looking for the download of this track?

I’ve been given permission to stream this track by the creator but for obvious reasons I can’t offer it to download.

However, I strongly recommend purchasing Elevated Backing Tracks Album.

It’s incredible value at only £19.99 for 317 tracks. All of the tracks are exceptional quality and have all the keys, moods and styles you’ll ever need to jam with.

Main Points From The Lesson Above:

Like the last lesson, this time we’re learning the major scale and it’s formula. We’re also learning the boxed position and how to break out of it.

It’s essential that you download the 2 worksheets above to understand this lesson on the major scale formula and playing with octaves.

Once you understand that all scales are made up of a formula of notes you can start to play them anywhere on the neck

TIP 1 = Learn the boxed position off by heart first. That way you’ve always got a go to set of notes that sound great over the major track.

TIP 2 = This backing track is slow and sounds great with long notes.

TIP 3 = By all means play the major scale on 1 string first. This is great way to come up with melodies.
