Drue's Guitars
If a guitar feels comfortable to play, sounds amazing and looks pretty then I’m happy with it.
I’ve never been much of a gear chaser and when I find something that works I stay loyal.
Here’s the guitars that I use in my lessons and currently own.
Furch D31-SR

This guitar is my “lifetime” acoustic.
I’ll hopefully be playing it forever. Good guitars (over a certain a price threshold) sound better with time.

Faith - Blood Moon Venus
Faith were kind enough to give me this wonderful guitar.
It really does look stunning. The deep red of the wood stain is like nothing I’ve ever seen before.
It plays well and has a great tone for the sub £1000 price mark.
Michael Edgeworth - Recital - Classical
I’m playing nylon string (often referred to as classical guitar) so much more.
I love the feel of the strings. It suits fingerstyle so well. I’m also a big fan of the wider necks on classical guitars.
I wouldn’t strum this one very much, but I do reach for it more and more when I’m playing guitar.
This guitar was handmade in the UK.
Jackson
While I don’t teach electric guitar I do own this wonderful red Jackson.
My best mate plays it a LOT more than I do when we play together as a duo.
